We spent a wonderful weekend in Eden, Utah, with the Bertch Family. Now this isn't just any family. Suzy, the Mom, is Faith's Birth mother. Dion, Machaella, Kyra and Landon are all birth siblings of Faith's and Ethan, and Colby are her birth-step-brothers. Troy would be her birth-step-dad. We had a wonderful time, and finally, closed the circle that opened with our first meeting with Suzy in Renton, WA 13 years ago. So now, the Bertch family is officially part of the Fairfield Family. We loved every minute of our brief time together, and are planning another "family reunion" soon! I have to say, there wasn't one moment of discomfort. Faith is thrilled, and I feel like I just inherited some wonderful nieces and nephews!
